I woke up this morning not feeling very well. General achiness, sinus headache and upset digestive system. It was not that bad, so we left the RV park in Banning, CA for Visalia.
Our original plan was to bypass the LA Basin by heading north just east of San Bernadino, then west through the high desert to Tehachapi and Tejon Pass and down to Bakersfield. This is the usual way we go. The forecsat was for high winds in the high desert however, so we decided to take a chance on going through the LA complex. Actually, it turned out pretty well. Since it was a Sunday morning, traffic, although always heavy here was not as bad as we have seen it in the past. We then travelled over the Grapevine to Bakersfield and then Visalia, arriving in mid-afternoon. We did have high winds in the high elevations through the Grapevine, however.
Still not feeling well with the same symptoms, maybe now a little worse, went to bed early hoping tomorrow would be better.
