It was a long drive for us today (355 miles).
We spent the night south of Phoenix and took the bypass loop around the west of Phoenix. It was a fairly easy drive with not much wind all the way into the CA Coachella Valley (Indio - Palm -Springs). The wind picked up the rest of the way until we arrived at our stop for tonight in Banning, CA at a KOA about 25 miles west of Palm Springs.
We will travel to Visalia, CA tomorrow then up 99 to home on Monday. We are ready.
