Spring Training 2022 - Day 54

 It rained all night but had stopped when we woke up (not "woke" in the contemporary sense, but in the traditional meaning of getting up in the morning).  It was still overcast with a few isolated showers early, but later cleared up for the game.

We decided to leave early for the game and have breakfast at Lenny's again.  We ate there right after we arrived and wanted to go there again for another "too much food" breakfast, East Coast style.  The place was filled with Phillie Fans in team colors along with others who may or may not be going to the game.  Even the balloon guy was there making funny hats out of balloons for the kids and the more adventurous adults. 

Once again, it was a great breakfast.  I had the Redneck Benedict again and Judy had a seafood omelet, stuffed with crab, lobster, and shrimp. Of course, they both came with a basket of Danish pastries and large servings of home fried potatoes with grilled onions.

The Phillies played the Detroit Tigers today in the next-to-last spring training home game.  The Phillies won and the weather was perfect - sunny, temperature in the high 70s', and a gentle breeze.  They have played 8 home games so far and have won 7 and only lost 1.  They are only training games, but it nice to see them win.

After the game we stopped at Cody's Roadhouse, nearby the RV park for dinner.  Nothing fancy, but convenient.
