It rained pretty much all night and was still raining in the morning. It was actually raining pretty hard, so we waited awhile before getting started. We did by 10:00 am with a short stop at a nearby Camping World to replace our electrical hook-up surge protector that failed.
It was still raining most of the day as we travelled north around the Kansas City east loop and up I-29 through Missouri and Iowa then across the Missouri River into Nebraska. We arrived at our destination; a KOA campground close to Omaha. When we arrived , the sun came out and it is very pleasant at the moment. It was dinner again in the RV, simple but delicious - hot dogs and fixins.
We gather with our youngest son and family tomorrow for dinner, and getting caught up with everyone's' lives.
Looks like we will be heading south instead of west on Friday.
