We left Oxford about 9:30 am and headed north/northwest to our next stop Nashville, TN. It was overcast when we left and shortly started raining, mostly light to moderate for the first part of the trip. After turning west at Chatanooga, the rain mostly stopped but the skies remained cloudy with occasional showers.
We stopped for lunch at the Tennessee Welcome Center for lunch in the RV. A very nice, well done rest stop.
As we approached Nashville our stop for tonight it started to rain a little and the traffic got much heavier,
We are staying at a KOA near the Grand Old Opry complex NE of town. We stayed here last year and wanted to come back for another visit. But due to our travel delay, our stay has been cut short to an overnight stop. We had a take- out dinner from the restaurant in the RV Park and early to bed.
