The Phillies played the NY Yankees today. It was very windy, approaching 25 mph in the area as a low-pressure front was approaching the area. As a south wind we were protected where we sit, and it was also a warm wind. It did impact the game though as the wind was "blowing out" to left field and balls hit in the air to left field got a little extra boost, consequently, there were a couple of wind-aided homeruns today. The Phillies did win 5-3, boosting the record of games we have seen to 6 wins and one loss.
Rain was also on the way as the front approached but held off until about 7:00 pm. Not a lot of wind, but it rained pretty much steadily through the night into the morning.
After dinner in the RV it was early to bed again. Two days off then the next to the last game on Sunday. The last one is on Tuesday and we leave on Friday, April 8th.
