The Phillies played the Tampa Bay Rays today in almost perfect weather. It was mid 80's at game time under clear skies, low humidity and a gentle breeze. Unfortunately, the game was not so perfect as the Phillies lost 8-2. Not much hitting and shaky pitching today.
My sister Eileen and her friend Karen from Largo were here today. Eileen had to leave early however, due to her friend Linda's trip to the emergency room after falling in Crystal River.
After a trip to Wallmart for a few things on the way home, we had dinner at the local Cracker Barrel and watched another DVD before going to bed.
We are slowly adjusting to the time change. Florida has passed legislation to make Daylight Saving Time year-round and is waiting for Federal approval of the change. The intent is to provide more daylight into the evenings to encourage tourist activity later in the day.
