Our plan for today was to travel over to Plant City, about 20 miles north of Tampa. for the annual Strawberry Festival. A county/state fair type of event that celebrates and features everything strawberry. We say we are going to check it out every year but have not yet done so.
Alas, we were trumped by the weather today. A cold front is approaching and the forecast for today was for isolated thunderstorms and showers this afternoon. It was overcast this morning and based on the forecast we decided it wasn't going to be the best day for fair going. So, we decided to stay "home" today. Maybe tomorrow. We'll see if the weather cooperates.
Sure enough, we got some rain and wind this afternoon but no thunderstorms. It will be dinner in the RV tonight and maybe a movie. Lots of entertainment choices with the ROKU and our movie DVD stash.
