It was a great day for baseball today. The temperature was in the low 80's, no humidity, and light winds from the SE.
The Phillies played the Pittsburgh Pirates and won 4-2. The game was well played and exciting for a spring training game. The attendance was about 6,000 people, well short of the full house of 10,000 om Sunday, but not bad for this stage of spring training.
After the game we drove over to Dunedin for a drink at Marker 8, the Tiki Bar and Grill at Beso del Sol, the condominium resort where we stayed two years ago. We each had a Pina Colada and relaxed awhile while enjoying the bay view and the gentle ocean breeze.
We wanted to wait for the sunset so we then went downtown, walked around a little and browsed in a few shoppes. As sunset approached, we walked down to the Dunedin Pier and got a waterfront table at Bon Appitite , the restaurant where we had dinner with my sisters and friend last week. We had a glass of wine and a light dinner and a front row seat to another beautiful Florida sunset. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing day
There is another game tomorrow, this time against the Baltimore Orioles.
