We moved into our permanent RV site this morning. We didn't have time to fully get set up before leaving for the game so we just hooked up the utilities and left for the game.
It was the first official game of spring training and alas, they lost 5-3. The pitchers who gave up the runs were minor leaguers/free agents who will not be on the roster when the season opens. On the other hand, most of the regulars position players played 5 innings or more and didn't get many hits.
Eileen, Linda, and Sharyn also were at the game and had a good time and a taste of Philadelphia ball park food.
After the game, we traveled over to Dunedin and had a nice dinner at Bon Apatite, a restaurant on the bay waterfront. We all then came back to the RV Park and Eileen and Linda dropped off Sharyn who will stay with us tonight. I will take her to the Tampa Airport tomorrow morning for her flight back to Sacramento.
No baseball tomorrow. We will use the day to finish getting settled in and rest.
