We left the RV park in Palm Harbor around 11:00 am for the short 7 mile drive to our destination, the Bay Bayou RV Resort in Oldsmar. We could not check in to our site until 12:00 noon so we decided to have an early lunch at the local Cracker Barrel restaurant. We had another great Cracker Barrel meal. The Sunday special was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and cornbread/biscuits and "fixins". It was not health food, but delicious.
After we checked in to our site, I did a quick wash of the RV to get the road dirt and bugs off from Texas and beyond. We then started to "make our nest", setting things up outside and reorganizing the inside of the RV for daily living. After drinks on the patio, we had a quiet dinner and early to bed. It was a short travel day but a busy long day after we arrived.
The Phillies played an away game today in Lakeland, FL against the Detroit Tigers and won.
