It was overcast but no wind, an easy drive on I-10 with little Saturday traffic - mostly just us and the trucks.
We arrived at Pueblo El Mirage RV and Golf Resort around 3:30 pm. The park is in a suburb in the NW part of Phoenix near Luke AFB, a busy fighter training base. It is a large high-end snowbird park that has a mix of small park model modular houses as well as spots for RVs. There is a golf course inside the park and is an attractive seasonable location for snowbirds from mostly northern states and Canada.
After we got set up, we enjoyed another beautiful desert sunset and had dinner at the golf course club house restaurant. We will be here for two more days and plan to do things in the Phoenix area while we are here. The weather remains cool (60's) but the skies are clear.
